How to Create a Refund Case

Step-by-step guide to creating and submitting your first refund recovery case

Creating Your First Case

Step 1: Access Your Dashboard

Log in to your MyRefunds account using the credentials sent to your email after account activation.

Step 2: Click "Create New Case"

Look for the blue "Create New Case" button on your dashboard. This opens the case creation form.

Step 3: Provide Merchant Details

Enter the name, website, and contact information of the merchant or service provider you're filing a claim against.

Step 4: Detail Your Loss

Describe what you purchased, the amount, when the transaction occurred, and why you believe you're entitled to a refund.

Step 5: Upload Documentation

Attach supporting documents such as receipts, order confirmations, bank statements, and communication with the merchant.

Step 6: Submit Your Case

Review all information and click "Submit Case". You'll receive confirmation via email immediately.

Required Documentation

To maximize your chances of successful recovery, please provide:

  • Transaction Receipt

    Order confirmation, invoice, or receipt showing the purchase

  • Payment Proof

    Bank statement, credit card statement, or payment receipt

  • Communication History

    Email exchanges or chat transcripts with the merchant

  • Terms & Conditions

    Refund policy or service terms from the merchant

  • Any Additional Evidence

    Screenshots, photos, or other supporting documentation

What Happens After You Submit?

Within 24 Hours

Your case manager will review your submission and contact you with next steps.

Case Assessment

We'll evaluate the strength of your claim and provide a preliminary success estimate.

Active Recovery

Our team contacts the merchant, payment processor, or bank to initiate the refund process.

Regular Updates

You'll receive email updates as your case progresses through each stage.

Resolution

Once resolved, you'll be notified of the outcome and any recovered funds.
